This dieting thing is a bunch of B%$#S@*&^

I have been fat my entire life, I am learning to be fat and happy. Although I must admit when I see myself in a photo I want to hurl, but I don't, I just head for the cupboard and make myself feel so good with any kind of treat. (Maybe if I did hurl it might benefit me if you catch my drift).
If someone tells me I cant have a sugary treat all it does is frustrate me and make me want more sugar, because you know it is my problem if I am fat, and a treat now and then just seems to do the trick. An apple or something healthy that would satisfy my hunger and actually benefit my purpose just does not have the same appeal as a hostess pie or a pop tart or .....anyway I digress, I hope that the motivation of 250.00 bucks helps my incentive, because in the past other quite enticing propositions have not seemed to spur me on. I was going to be slim for the Bear Lake trip this year and water ski and have all kinds of fun, but as you see from the photos I had a great time laying around and not even being able to navigate a simple machine.
Oh well maybe next week will be much easier and I can get in a different mind set and picture myself with six pack abs and water skiing someday in the near future.
Good luck and keep on eating healthy.

John I admire your candid portrayal of how hard it is when treats do make us feel so good. Hang in there, keep your eye on the cash, and remember that no matter what we are all your family and we love you!

I gave up refined sugar completely a few years ago and after 2 or 3 weeks I really didn't miss it at all and all other food was more flavorful. I even did Bear Lake sans sugar. You can do this...

Keep your eye on the prize dear. We are the biggest losers!

Except for raising kids, controlling hunger and food craving is the hardest thing in the world! It isn't fair that skinny folks judge us and they have no idea how hard it is when all you do it think about what you want to eat!
Be strong!!!
